Our Barbarossa Pirate Ship is a great toy, with excellent play-value !

It has the Skull and Crossbones painted on its sails, which are made of durable fabric, a “working” spring-loaded cannon with little wooden cannon balls, and a teetering “walk-the-plank” board that projects out over the side. There’s also a “working” anchor winch, the ship’s wheel turns, and there are 2 rope ladders to the Crow’s Nest, perfect for spotting deserted islands to bury a treasure.

There’s a hatch made with wooden bars in the middle of the main deck that opens into the “hold”, in case anyone needs to be locked up “down below”. The rear of the ship opens too, so it’s easy to load and unload cargo… and store all the pirates inside the ship when playtime is over.

It’s made of solid wood, with the name and decorations painted on the ship, not decals that could peel off, and it’s easy to assemble. It really is ! It’s a great toy, made to last a lifetime.
